Can anyone tell me where I can find the frame number on my Saracen Eiger (see photo) and would I be able to find out how old the bike was if I had this (how/where)? Thanks

Well I took the top cover off and there does seem to be an allen nut of some sort in there - but it is about 3/4 of the way down inside the fork tube. Could you explain a bit about elastomer sprung forks - I am not sure how that works.
