    Many thanks for the info - it looks as if it will be staying in the garage then. I would be happy if I could get £50 for it .... I’ve tried riding it with the seat raised but I think that the frame is too short ... as my knees don’t have enough room to feel comfortable when pedalling!

    Well I took the top cover off and there does seem to be an allen nut of some sort in there - but it is about 3/4 of the way down inside the fork tube. Could you explain a bit about elastomer sprung forks - I am not sure how that works.
