I know this is an oldish thread, but I've just recently had my '89 Apex refurbed, and the Shimano HG70 Cassette 12-28 7 Speed, fits it perfectly. Mine's had a new bottom bracket, new grips, new tyres, new cassette, new chain, and a new saddle, so it's tip top and is still working a treat. I...
