    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

Hi Jonas. After owning this bike for over 40 years I know when I see another one. Which has never happened till now. They are identical and the sticker I think you refer to is the dealer sticker. I also suspect that the rims on your bike were changed as was my rear rim. The originals bent very...

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

As you can see, the bikes are identical, as is this frame for sale on ebay and one other bike in New York that is still new (amazing). So this is four that we know about. Three here in the US and yours over there. The rarest English 10 speeds in existence. Even the bike gurus, bike know it alls...

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

More Dunelt 10 speed info just discovered. Hope I am not boring anyone to death. I noticed that the bottom bracket sleeve (on my bike and on the eBay frame) has an oval within it stamped RGF. Here is a cut and paste of another post I discovered explaining it. [Dave Moulton 03-25-06, 06:39...

My saddle also has the Brooks stamped into the Leather on top, as well as the metal tag riveted on the rear. Underside the rear bracket says MADE IN ENGLAND and a PAT #

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

I have reviewed your photos, the ebay photos, and my actual bike. The lugs look identical to me. Exactly what difference(s) do you think you are seeing? And I bet you never expected to find someone that had one of these from new did you? I am amazed that you have the fenders because back in the...

By the way, it's so nice to have anyone at all even just to talk to about these.

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

I had some communication with the seller and he indicated to me that he had very little (no) interest on the complete bike hence he is parting it out in order to get some revenue from it. Really a shame. Did not notice the lugs being different or the same as mine I'll have to look again and see...

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

These rare birds were fitted with Weinmann 999 calipers and quick release levers. I have heard people poo poo these brakes and yeah, they are not Campy, but they were the bomb back in 1962 and they stop really well. The Williams cotter cranks were strange to me and I never paid much attention...

    Vintage Dunelt lightweight (1959?)

It is very interesting indeed that our frame # is more than 1000 different. The frame for sale on ebay right now you can see it is K708something making it about 40 only different from mine. This is a red frame and appears identical to ours (as unique as they are they are easy to recognize) and...

Dunelt 10 speed You will be looking for letters on the crank arms themselves. Such as ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD etc. They will be located on the arms that side which is facing the cahin sprocket and just near the pedal mounting. And yes our componants seem to be identical other then the rims. I believe...
