hi,ive just stripped my old nishiki alien back to the bare aluminium.do i need to put a clear coat on it?.i saw a car show when they done the same and said it needed a clear coat on it to stop it discolouring over time.any advice would be great cheers steve

i dont have the correct tool and when i was young i used a block of wood and a hammer but im old and wise now and wondered what other way there is,home made tools? any help would be great cheers steve
