Does anyone know if the braze on boss i have on my downtube is compatible with a campagnolo shifter? or is the circular shape more for a simplex or huret shifter?

the downtube boss does look round in shape more like the french versions, this torpado appears to be like a collaborative hybrid between torpado and simplex

no idea as its part of the frame. im hoping a campy 5 speed braze on lever will fit in it... 😬

if i were lucky to find a cable operated front mech, forget about finding the twin double downtube lever

totally agree but a simplex twin double lever with a cable lever front mech (such as in the photo below) is impossible to find.
