No worries,
Yes it is a stretch, I have managed to find a seal set for these old things so I can service them. I can get nearly 4inches by making a mount for the highest hole. I am trying to take up the slack with fatter tyres and mount the stanchion a little lower. if all else fails I will try...
Ha ha, holes can be achieved by the butcher!
I have the tools to do pretty much anything to it.
The only issue I need to be worried about is the seals. 24mm seals are unavailable so I need a set with the seals still working.

I just had my second bike stolen in two months. a lovely old orange evo and my pride and joy steel stumpy. both uninsured.
Has anybody got and old decent steel frame to sell cheaply. I don't care about the condition so long as it is straight.

Hello
I'm interested in all parts that I can use on my Z2's
I love them. I have been many places with them. My project is to keep them going forever.
However the thing I need as a priority is a left slider or a pair of sliders (with disk mounts).
Have you got any?
re pics.
yes those aree the pics from the ebay ad. I didn't have time to get any of my own.
P.S
The bike has uniquely turned cable end reducers. It may help to ID it.
