Picked up an easily coerced idiot and brought an extra bike . Just an hour or so round the country park . Friendly abuse and derision abound .🙂

Lovely looking bicycle there Phil . Tricky close with the rear centre pull yoke . I had an old Galaxy like that, 5mm of pull .

1980ish fast tourer built for closer clearance 27" but with 700's ..... Not an easy find frame wise but worth the wait , nippy but stable I've got a Raleigh xc80 too that is upsettingly light and responsive but stable enough on the lumpy stuff . Both will take 43 c tyres .

I've got round this in the past by using a spacer between the fixed cup and the bb shell . 3mm makes it much better . I'm assuming it's due to Italian bb's being a 70mm shell not 68mm .
