I have my 1999 Scott Vail for sale, it needs a rear tyre and one of the shifters doesn’t always click when pushed. In excellent condition as barely ever ridden, original grips etc. Collect from or near Whitstable, £50.

So I have my 96 Karakoram sat around for along time now and really want to build a hardtail with some other bits I have...so to fund it probably going to break the Karakoram, it has covered a few miles since new and has original tyres the lot... Anyone help value the pieces or interest in them...

Thanks for comments going to keep this one original and enjoy the feel of a bike that remind of how bikes rode when I started mountain biking 17 years ago....the bars are so narrow! Doing complete opposite on my new carbon zesty which is getting through upgrade programme!

Hi new to retro bikes but managed to find this Karakoram for £100 with just a few scratches but all original spec from what I can tell....even has the original WTB tyres in original condition! Thinking this is about 95/96 based on LX groupset with canti brakes... Can anyone help with year...
