Aye this is nice frame but nothing sacred. Should work out the cheapest bike I've done in a long time. Plus modern stuff is so easy to get. I've got an SR Litage that I want to do retro period perfect and that is taking forever to source the right bits. Happy trails!

I've always had Shimano until a few years ago when I tried SRAM. Now all my modern bikes run SRAM. I prefer the action and aesthetics of SRAM over the Shimano stuff. Recently built up a MC Fury with all SRAM including the new Type 2 clutch mech, best mech out there for the money IMHO.

Yeah we had a good little ride and considering the rain we had last week it was in tip top condition. Really wanted to go out today but severe manflu has rendered me useless. We were discussing doing a Youies run in the next few weeks.

For me its my little Marin EG, my time machine for the soul if you will. Every time I ride it, I am a kid again its such fun to ride and it reminds me of a time when the world was fresh and new!
