Thanks so much for posting that. It's good to see just how odd it looks. Seems interesting to me that the DS seatstay is straight, and the curved one is the NDS. Guess that might be better as the DS presumably has odd torsional forces going on when 'putting the hammer down'. In my head I had...

    roller-cam brakes

So my measure said 87mm c-c for the pivots. I'm riding a 30mm ext rim on the tandem. The brakepads' grippy posts are pushed fairly far outwards, so the same pivot setup would work with those 2.5mm ish slightly inward for the Atlas rim. On that tandem I've got 2.15" maxxis dth tyres, SKS...

I'm a fan, bought a Dave Yates 26r tandem made for roller-cams from someone on LFGSS MatCR (pretty sure a regular here too) in Bomo a while back, so snagged a black pair of XCD4050s pretty easily on fleabay, and love them. Have been amazed how easy they are to operate, on a camping-loaded tour...

Hi REtrouble I've been wondering about the asymmetric stays arrangement on this bike of yours for some time. I'd love to know how well you think it works, for I am mostly derailleur-afflicted (as they say on the Rolhoff-favouring Thorn forum) and I do love the idea of trying a dishless wheel...
