Ok cool...starting wonder if my dream retro pace forks are worth it, just rebuilt the rock shox and they're fine now..pace do feel silky smooth though! Also I noted there is no slot in the steerer tube to take the lock washer is this normal?

...mine has been on there for the best part of 20 years though...

Guys, To give me more options on my one inch orange head tube... What would I need to consider for moving to Aheadset? Aheadset head set on inch, clearly Stem... New handle bars? Let me know of any place selling nos stock bargains as the quill looks a bit old now plus moving to aheadset...
