I owned a marin back in about 89 that had a strange steerer mounted suspension sytem that broke 3 times in a month, which I then exchanged for a Alpine Stars ALUmega. I think it was an eldridge grade (red fork with black "scrath resistant" paint). Can anybody confirm what it actually was...
