    Bumping this old thread: For the guys that have refurbed these, I’m hoping you can help with advice for reassembling after repaint. What’s the best way to align the blades in the crown? Was thinking of using a front wheel with bolt on skewer, but maybe there’s a better way? Thnx

    Thanks for the replies, do you think the added metal bit was to give the seat more surface for the crown race? Im tempted to take a flathead and a hammer to it, and see what’s underneath 😬 Bad idea?
