You might just have nailed this one Shaun, looking at other Roy Thame frames online it fits, also mine has a curved bridge which seems a feature of other RT frames. Many thanks. Dave

Having read a bit more on the Forum, I'm not sure about the Bonavia option - the serial numbers Clive used were usually full dates DD/MM/YY and this doesn't fit the pattern. Given what I've been told about the likely age, it's probably too early for a Ross Allan build too. So, the detective work...

Can anyone help with identifying the maker of this frame - pics attached. There are no decals at all, but distinctive wrap around seat stays, campy drop outs and the number '176' on the BB and steerer tube. Also on the BB is 'CM15 0NJ' a postcode? and 'REC'. The guy I bought it off thought it...
