Nice one! 1) it normally happen due to the old grease inside becomes sticky, use wd40, click up and down a couple of times and should work. If sometimes works and sometimes not... that must be the reason. 2) Specialty Retro Products web site, they have springs for your judy.

And this is my GT Team Avalanche 1991, some items are not as per catalogue: grips, rims and tires, saddle and headset. Missing a 4x2 fork to replace the RS1 which was other option mentioned in the catalogue. Hope you will like it. Cheers from BCN.

Hi Henry! Sand paper 240-380-600-1000-2000, polishing brush (cloth) with polishing paste, about 3 hours each bottle. Same procedure I apply for aluminum cranksets etc.

Well... after stripping down the mysterious frame, it was white and black. Serial A016 and not A046, there is a small mark crossing the number 1 that made me think it was a 4. But is definitely a 1. So... I decline for a Gt Avalanche. 1992.
