Good idea about de-stickering. I always thought they looked a bit garish but hadn’t realised they are just stickers that peel off easily. Also, good to hear you think the 10-speed down tube shifters should partner the old 105 mechs okay. I’ll provide another update shortly.

It’s coming together. Just need to adjust the saddle and fit the chain and pedals.

Thanks for the confirmation. The build quality of my 1989 Orbit America frame isn’t a match for your BJ, but at least the paint job will be! Flamboyant Red and gold lugs it is! Scrunch
