Re: The airlines don't charge very much for bikes if you take them back with you. Just get a bike shop to package it up in a bike box (maybe £20) and often the airline will ship it for free (they did for me when flying back from Qatar). Might not be as expensive as you think.

Re: Yeah it's not bad at all. Not a lot of padding, and def not gel which I think the GT original was, but not a bad match. Will look good on my '91 Zaskar once I get it polished up.

Just unboxed a decent condition ink blue Zaskar. All the bits are rubbish, but the frame is pretty decent, with the blue being very vivid. Hopefully the photos have attached. Its a Feb '94 with just really cable rub and chainstay rub. Is there a way of touching up the anodising? I know can't...
