Now that these are around 25 years old, keep an eye on the frame particularly between the handlebars and front fork for cracks (front of that tube section). This is one area the frame has weakened for 2 of us, much to our dismay - but 25 years from a mountain bike is excellent service time.

Re: Nice to see some of these still rollin - I've been running one since '95, just put new tires and a drive train on, took one ride on it after and I think it's better than ever. Just noticed 3 cracks in the front between the handlebars & fork though, looking for a new frame however I'm a...
