1970's Knight Cycles of Wolverhampton - Transfer Help!

Thanks again for the input. I may have mentioned it before but the frame is number K0113, for what it's worth; I would also guess it to be early 70's. There is a chainstay stop and also a brazed on tab underneath the down tube for positioning the shifters, I think. That's all for braze-ons. I'll...

1970's Knight Cycles of Wolverhampton - Transfer Help!

Thanks for your input, Torqueless. I haven't got much response on this one. I don't think many Knight Cycles came out with this down tube decal. There is a different one which H Lloyd stocks which is more prevalent. You don't see many of these old Knight bikes, anyway. I decided to try it...

1970's Knight Cycles of Wolverhampton - Transfer Help!

Thank you & thanks for the suggestions re: the font. I'll take a look. A gentleman from the Wolverhampton area I met through eBay suggested Baskerville. With enough help and a little determination, I'll get close.

1970's Knight Cycles of Wolverhampton - Transfer Help!

Would anyone have a proper picture of the style of down tube decal which is on this frame, which is nearly invisible? I found one in better shape on eBay but also only partial. The frame is K0113. H Lloyd sells one but it is a different style than I'm looking for. Thanks.

Here is the 12-42T combination. No appreciable sag. I think the key is chain length. When it's in the 30-52T combination (which shouldn't really be used), there are ZERO extra links; in other words, the chain is the minimum length possible.

Here are a few more photos demonstrating the SR Rear Derailleur on the 30 tooth sprocket and the 42T chainring. Also, a shot from the rear of the seat stays. Hey grilla, why not post a photo of that fork for me; I'd like to see it.

Simple explanation. It's my spare; I flatted the rear on a staple. The $95 tire, almost new, is being repaired...

When I get some time later I'll post a new close-up photo with the SR mech on the big sprocket. FYI.

The Super Record is actually rated to 28 teeth according to the references I've seen. I believe the cage is slightly longer than the Nuovo Record which is rated to 26 teeth. The SR easily does the 30 tooth sprocket. And a Nuovo Record will do 28 also with no problem. In both cases, running the...

    '79 Condor Restored

This is a 1979 Condor Italia of Reynolds 531 w/ Campagnolo dropouts. The fork is not original; it is a very nice Ishiwata fork with Suntour Superbe dropouts. I'd like to find one some day of Reynolds 531 with a full sloping crown like the red one in the attached photo. I think the fork crown is...
