it's a bit big for me too, else i'd probably do the resto and keep it. like you say, i think everything is original, right down to to michelin tyres. and they havn't been ruined by constant skid cornering on tarmac! i've had a fairly modest offer for the bike by PM now, so if anyone else fancies...
