What has any one got?
Please state model / approx. age / condition / blocks (or cartridge) condition.
Preferably Alloy finish.

I was more concerned over the dropout width, not the mechanic.
Anyway my ebay 8 speed wheels turned up (Steel Cassette body Atlanta 96's), and they fit perfectly, so frame was probably 130mm rear dropout in the first place.

You were right, sort of!
I had a check, my AVANTI levers (cheapest groupset back then I think) are much more plastic than yours, but they do have a similar method.
They have a plastic black dowel, which you push across (no fancy spring return....on my light weight racer brifters...

It is a Merckx frame with a 48mm (ish) drop.

Question about pull ratio on brakes.
