    paint stripping a frame or parts just got harder

    I descovered that B&Q stripper works a bit better but you have to leave it overnight. If you leave it over night it does bubble up like the old nitromors did in seconds. It does work you just need patience

    1988 stump fully restored Fully restored with loads of new parts. Brand new specialized GX26 wheels, rims spokes and Deore hubs & QRs with new 7 speed cassette. Stripped and painted frame using etch primer. The frame was in brilliant condition to start with so its not a case of cleaning away...

    sweet, I like it. Wish I could find some decent cream wall tires. I could have put my old wonder dawg ones back on but wanted new. Doesn't look quite right with black walls.

    Thanks guys and Makster. A big help there, I thought so so its nice to have confirmation. I spotted the deliberate mistake in your post there Makster :) Any ideas on the steering bearing seal ?
