Argos Time Trial Bike 853 tubing - £150

Very interested in this. Guessing it was originally a Dangerfield style micro lo-pro (& not the drop bar setup) you posted in your pics. Back in the day I had a Cougar equivalent of this (but have lost the measurements), if setup in TT mode do you think with a huge seat pin this would be...

For sale- pair Shimano WH racing wheels/Dura Ace cassette

Re: For sale- pair Shimano WH racing wheels/Dura Ace cassett How much did they sell for, if you don't mind me asking? Thought that was a forum selling guideline was to keep prices on ads... If anybody missed out on these, I'm still selling my WH-535's

    SOLD - Shimano wheels WH-R535 £75

Got a great pair of Shimano WH-R535 wheels for sale, they used to be the wheels I saved for time-trialling on but I've now invested in some nice carbon to do that job and so they've sat mainly unused for 3 or 4 years  The wheels are well used but still have got loads of miles in them I'd...

    Campagnolo 8 speed rear mech

What have you got? Decent (hopefully excellent) condition rather than grade of equipment, but probably wouldn't go as low as Mirage. So anything Daytona upwards... PM me info. Thanks

    Simoncini Lo-Pro TT

Re: Simonici I was on a family holiday in Tuscany a decade or so ago & my brother-in-law suggested we find a place to hire bikes. The owner of the villa put us in contact with his only cycling contact, which lo & behold was the Simoncini workshop. Unfortunately, my pidgin Italian couldn't...

Alan Cross Bike Riders - question

If the fork has a crown drilling you could look at getting one of those supplementary fork-crown cable guides, this changes slightly how the cable run feeds into the canti & usually solves fork judder issues.

Retro Jerseys & other modernish kit (shoes/bike bits)

Having my annual spring stock-check of what I need and what bits could go to a new home so got a few items for sale. Biemme solid black short-sleeve road jersey in XL. £12 SOLD http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b84/glasgowsufc/For%20Sale%20March%202012/3143f05b.jpg Good condition & hardly...

My Cougar road bike circa 1997

Sounds good to me but then the white obsessive in me would then also suggest ditching that splash bar tape for some much nicer white cork ribbon too

Any recommendations for a pedal wrench?

I found the cheaper Park tool tricky to get to work, but that might have been more due to a combination of my mechanical ineptitude and a pedal that hadn't been removed for a very long time! If I was buying another pedal wrench, I'd more than likely go for the Pedros one.

    show us your cross bikes

The UCI passed a ruling last summer to say disc-brakes could now be used in competition, this came too late for 2011 & even some 2012 model bikes but this development is starting to filter through. Search any of the recent Eurobike show coverage and you will find pretty much all the major...
