So I've had to come to a painful decision to part with my flying scot. (And a couple of my other bikes). I have no idea on what to price the scot at in the current market. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thought I would post an updated pic as the Scot had a bit of a makeover to make it even nicer to cycle (plus some wee toerag snapped one of my 105 DT shifters :( )
My Dawes is now waiting for its STI Brifters and other bits (put on hold at present) :)

If you want to keep the patina i wouldnt use the t-cut n polish stuff. To keep the patina id maybe use safe-cut, if at all (its less abrasive) , and Collinite clear coat wax. Used a similar process on old patina'd VWs. I have previously used Ankor wax, but feels a bit greasy...
I was wondering if anyone has a set of STI brifters for a 14 speed (7x2) that they are not using and looking to sell. I believe shimano did an RSX and Sora version that i know about, but looking for any 7x2 setup.

Simplex seems to ring true of certainly some of the groupset.
The groupset certainly looked like this, but obviously on a different frame. The frame pictured is still a Carbolite 103, but my frame has an internally routed rear brake.
I can find info on almost every other type and model...
