I’d forgotten how liberating it is to ride, a great riding position and the width and height of the handlebars make it so easy… you’re completely upright and great steering control. Thanks for putting me in touch with Dan who has done a fantastic job bringing it back to its former glory!

Hi Graham, I finally got the bike to Dan yesterday! What a lovely guy! He’s going to get transfers done, sandblast, fix and re spray for me… there’s also a slight crack around the seat but he thinks that just the brazing so he’s going to fix that too. I really appreciate you putting me in touch...

Hi Graham, yes Dan did respond, I’m dropping the bike off to him next week sometime. Thanks for putting us in touch. He thinks best thing is to put a lug in the frame rather than replace the whole chain stay but I guess he can make a decision on that when he sees it… I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks Dan, that's interesting about the chainset, again this is all why I'd rather someone in the know deals with my bike so yes, I'll hang on and wait to hear from Dan... Be interesting to hear what Geoff Apps says... and if he has the artwork for the decals even better. The bike is all in...

Hi Graham, Ah, that's just the same... even the red cables! I spoke to a bike shop in Leeds yesterday, they reckon they can fix it but tbh I'd rather go with your recommendation of Dan on here. I emailed him but haven't heard back from him. I think I'd rather get it fixed by someone like that...
