Thanks Siish for your response. I went into Fleabay to try find something in 28.2, but it seemed I could only find local listings( Canada ), and it wouldn't bring up a seat post or shim of any kind

A few years back someone stole the seat post off of my Profile mountain bike. The problem is that it seems to be a 28.2 mm post and they are completely unavailable these days, and I cant replace it. I had replaced it back in the 90's with a Syncros post, but they no longer seem to make that...
