    Early Colnago experts?

Thanks, it’s defo Colnago, not DeRosa or Kessels and it’s from very early 70s, seller told me 73. Have attached pics of same details the exception being no clovers on fork crown/headlug. Identical long pint lugs to blue frame no no cloverleafs I have been told all production frames in early 70s...

    Early Colnago experts?

Hi I have just happened across an early 72 or 73 colnago which is claimed and appears to be an ex Molteni team frame. I don’t have pics to hand but, although obviously a colnago early type super there are no clover leaf cutouts in lugs, only the typical colnago cotout under BB shell. I think...

Ellis Briggs NOT gone into liquidation

Paul Gibson undoubtedly needs help in running his business. I think we can all agree that the type of operation is almost too much for a single person to run. That said, there is no excuse for his behavior, taking people’s money then ghosting them. I was luck as I got my frame back after about...

Ellis Briggs NOT gone into liquidation

I see you can’t comment on his Video, not surprised. It’s just unbelievable the guy has peoples money for months and years without producing and then thinks he’s going to write a book, and get paid for it! Incidentally, when I did eventually get my frame back there were all kinds of problems...

Ellis Briggs NOT gone into liquidation

I did one of his frame building courses last year and waited a year for my frame and even then it was unfinished, and only after threatening legal action. I agree with a lot of what Paul says but writing a book and videos with Patreon are not going to clear his backlog. He needs an admin person...

    Chrome plater

Argos don’t do their own plating, they send out to a player in Liverpool but don’t know the name.

Key plating is gone as well. Another one bites the dust.

    Chrome plater

Thanks for all the replies. Bike frames (forks) are apparently a bit specialist. Quite often they polish too much and you lose detail in lugs etc so was hoping for a personal recommendation from someone who had had frame/fork parts chromed.

    Chrome plater

Looking for a recommendation for chrome platers for road fork crown and dropouts. Used to use capital chrome but gone now. Don’t mind paying a bit more for a reasonable turn around time!
