Re: On my humble opinion if this was mine I’d send it to Cyfac and have them paint it rather than cover it in decals. Matt Wood had one of T Marie’s road frames repainted by them and the colour is painted not decals, all apart from the Raleigh heron badge.

Castorama used Campagnolo in the 1990 season but switched to Dura Ace from 1991 onwards.

Re: That’s really unusual, I’ve been using Look Deltas for 25 years, all my bikes have these pedals in various guises and I haven’t experienced anything like this. I use the black non-floating cleats though, I didn’t like the floating red ones. I wonder if your cleats are adjusted slightly...

Re: Hiya, sadly time and funds have escaped me so the frame hangs on the garage wall waiting for me to show it some love. I have taken the deltas off it and put them back on the Dynatech road bike. I need to refit the BB and cranks, find some new shifters and calipers (monoplaner chorus maybe?)...

Ha...I hadn’t spotted that, you’d struggle to justify the asking price even if it was Fignon’s bike.

Rather nice in parts, a bit tatty in others. A 1989 example based on the rider, any experts out there think this is a Raleigh built bike rather than a Cyfac built one? The seat stay arrangement and brake bridge don’t look like the French manufacturer’s version. Price is perhaps ‘ambitious’...
