    I Anyway, the name/serial implies some custom geometry or race prep. Be it on a tandem or Mountaineer. But on an early APE/KAHLUA that was probably a big deal, Doug wasn't making a lot of frames back then. Months of wait time on custom work. I'll wager that frame has a special story.

    Those forks were/are sweet. Had a set on a Buell/Paramount and the Earth became a mattress. I think the aft tubes are adjustable in the crown +/- a few millimeters for geometry/tracking fine tuning.
