its certainly a well made frame thats what i liked about it. Any idea of the year it was made and what sort of wheels it would have had it came with two black rims the front is just one i had lying around for the photo while i was cleaning up the ones it came with.

yes your right about the forks not the most visually attractive and heavy buggers. I quite like it though the frame is nicely made and its quite light. Don't know what mang alloy was possibly managanese. anyway it was a tenner and its added to the collection. [/img]

Thanks that what I thought, its got altus stuff on it and I changed the shifters and the bars. I think I will fix the forks and clean it up and keep it for the school run.

HI got this recently from a guy who had some frames for sale. I was wondering if anyone knows how old it is and what sort of spec it would have been. The front brake seems original someone stuck a v brake on the back. The forks have lost all their oil and have zero movement, it says made in...

Nice pictures, the frame I'v got says made in Spain and there is a sticker with Euro bikes on it it has steel forks. I'd love to get it back to the level of your bike. Better get busy and set a deadline. And start looking for some parts. :lol: :D
