Re: Thanks, I get you. So as I am riding, a couple of thoughts... Not as many clipless pedals on the trailhead. Slacker head angles everywhere (doesn't anyone go up anymore?) Do we really need 4"+ (it is the motion in the ocean, not the size of the wave, no?). I am good with normal stuff...

Re: Circa 1999 I believe. Came equipped with the blue grey LX 9 speed group and a stock Judy 80mm. The prev owner was freeing up space in the garage. It is fun to ride, but I miss the forward movement of my old Klein, if that makes sense, just not the shock from the roots.

So after a helli ride in 2K with a tib fib trying to do something I could not, I hung up my double sided spd's for something less threatening. Finding myself bored 17 years later, with the culdesac saying "let's ride!" I can not afford the new stuff, but the old stuff looks just fine to me...
