    can i simply drill a hole on the selector plate to make it a 8 speed shifter? according to the pic you took the dimpled hole pattern is a little bit different between the two, so i guess it's not that simple.

    Question about XTR M960 rear mech

    Do shifters of the same group set model as a rapid rise mech work ‘naturally’? So thumb and forefinger aren’t reversed? It has nothing to do with the shifters, it's all about the rear der. , the der. makes it a "low normal" or "high normal" way.
