FSA compacts are truly a great shape. Used to work for TH Industries / FSA and glad you’re a fan.

The frame was a bit small so sold that thing. Paid $35, sold for $300. BSA for the BB, sorry that I didn’t measure the post. Go to your local shop and use their seat tube diameter gauge?

    Today's Ride

Today I did some clearing of the basement. Rode my unfortunately to small for me ABM Breezer (complete DX build) to the shop down the hill. Gifted it to a well deserving mechanic who was pumped. Easy come, easy go and good to see it’s going to be well loved. Bike = joy. Isn’t that what...

Picked up doughnuts for the shop on a old Mercian basket bike.

    1998 Orange P7 Tourer/ATB

Fun “adventure” build experiment but really points out the need for an experienced fitter and mechanic to get involved. Could have saved a lot of $ in the long run. Also the brakes are known as Linear Pull and not V-Brakes. V-Brakes is a Shimano terminology for Linear Pull.

How Many Bikes Do You Think You Have Owned Over The Years….?

What a brain exercise! Not counting the BMX/kids bikes… 37 mountain bikes 41 road bikes 35 commute / funky builds 6 tandems 3 E bikes Oy, not counting team supplied bikes that I had to return. These are not quick turns for $$ or sales (it doesn’t count till you’ve racked up at least 500 miles...

For Sale Cleaning out the garage - ABM Breezer

Bonus? I worked in the Seattle shop (R&E Cycles) when this was new (friend but this baby) and they still have the original replacement drop outs. Can include a few of those if desired.

For Sale Cleaning out the garage - ABM Breezer

Ok and here we go. Not super sano but a solid start on a full re-do. It was a bit small for me so hence the Velo Orange stem and riser bar. 18” c-t ST (16.5 c-c), 21” top tube effective. Included would be my Specialized (MKS) Direct Drive 3 pedals ( alloy cage, carbon body, titanium spindle, SBC...

For Sale Cleaning out the garage - ABM Breezer

Interesting what to many bikes in the garage will drive you to do. American Bicycle Manufacturing Breezer, Koski fork, Magura levers, Mavic ATB hubs (FW), XC Pro, XT cranks, SR Laprade post with Hite Rite. Set up as a Tringle w/ SunTour XC Pro shifter and frt derail, Alfine chain tensioner...

    The British bike thread

Dink around time in the garage…. Took off the Nitto drop bars and installed some north roads, basket and SunTour XC pedals. The French Nervar 46/30 cranks are kinda a wart but they totally work fine. “Gotta” find proper grips and some SunTour XC power retro friction shifters.

    1994 Norco Rampage

Had that bike when it was new. Ball inflation needle for the Mag21 was a not ready for prime time move. Tange Ultimate tubing was so nice. My Rampage was replaced with the silver TNT. Externally rifled Tange, complete first year XTR, Halson Inversion fork (serial #3). Norco gifted me the show...
