I had a feeling it wouldn't be straight forward lol. I shall have a look at classifieds and sold listings and whatever sells for the highest i'll assume is the decent gear haha

Basically as the title says. I don't know a lot about 90s forks, always preferred rigid for old bikes. However, i have a GT Talera that had some ugly RST suspension forks added by the previous owner. I want to replace them with something period, but decent (for the time). Anything modern...

A nineteen ninety something Dawes Wildcat budget build

The seat was a bold choice, but fitting given it's a "wildcat" lol. The original fabric was torn and pealing off so I retrimmed it with some leopard print fabric I had from when I used to make custom gear/handbrake gaiters for cars.

A nineteen ninety something Dawes Wildcat budget build

Looking at my price list it was actually just shy of £95, I'd added the bar and stem price twice and forgot the Ritchey back wheel lol. But £80ish in total after recouping the cost of sold bits, super happy with that I've on put around 10 miles on it so far, just rode from my house to the far...

A nineteen ninety something Dawes Wildcat budget build

First retro "build" after getting back in to old bikes. I've missed it Total cost for this was around 90 quid, including a set of maxxis tires that I need to collect (technically even less if you consider the old exage kit I sold) Has a modern Deore 1x10 cassette and derailleur which was a...

Wanted 8/9/10 speed freehub (picture inside)

Need a freehub with the internal teeth (not sure on the proper terminology lol). I'm converting another bike with a broken front derailleur to a 1x10 from 3x7 but I can't for the life of me get ahold of another freehub like this, and I don't want to disassemble my other bike for it. I've tried...

Oh that might be perfect, thanks! I used to have some brown Charge Spoons but can't find any now, they look very similar

Seemingly hard to get hold of brown saddles these days. Not after some vintage brooks style ones, nor anything that's a bit too rough I'm located in East Yorkshire but happy to pay for postage too

Wanted Retro MTB wanted - East Yorkshire

They're a nice bike but looking to buy one ready to go, a custom build is likely more than I want to spend currently 😅
