    Giant ATX 900

(cough)1999(/cough) You can tell by the paintjob, decals and shock position. Before 1999 it was know as the ATX900 as a frame or 990 as a complete bike.

Pace Fork Help - Steerer Options

Shame about the RC31 ti forks, with having a 1" steerer they are not much use on any of my other bikes but are a little too long for the Pace. My own stupid fault, I have no idea why I didn't order them as 420mm when I bought them! At least the RC30 should be the right length, I thing the...

I have one on my Pace and although I would like everything to be period I can ride with the confidence it is.t going to break. The only thing that might convince me to change would be a perfect Syncros. ALl the period posts I ride from UK manufactures looked lovely but were not reliable.

    Most expensive early 90's mtb?

I recall the Guiness Book of records back then said the most expensive bike was manufactured by Stif, which I believe was a complete bike based around a Merlin frame. It was called the Flipper. I think it had Pace forks and Paul Mechs etc
