Re: Stunning bike! I'm not sure about the forks. All the Model B's I have seen have painted forks. Also, there are mudguard eyelets on the rear of the frame but not on the forks. I suspect the forks aren't original to the bike.

The BB is marked 58 but you've stated it's 56.5cm ctc. Does the 58 stand for 58cm ctt for the seat tube?

The wheels were well packed and arrived in excellent condition - no complaints there. I apologise if I misunderstood you, but I had assumed that a "proper wheel box" was something other than a used cardboard box. Maybe that was my mistake.

Very nice. 55cm - is that centre to centre on the seat tube? Do you know what the length of the top tube is? Any idea which model of frame it is (King of Mercia / Audax Special)? I'd be interested in the Pro Lugless as well (if it's in a similar size).

Okay - thanks. I only asked because some people seem to think that Colnago sizing is a bit strange - but this is apparently not the case :)
