and MrW yes the front bracket is for a dynamo. if you look at the top picture that is how i found he bike. id certainly say it was older than 1970's, maybe even 50's?

Here is one more photo. This is what I can't seam to find on other bikes. This bracket and the mounting plate on at the rear which is shown in one of the photos. Have you seen them before?

Hi Shaun. Here are some more photos. I have stripped the paint back and the serial number was in fact C86298. Also the wheel size is 27 x 1 1/4". I really can't find it anywhere ! Thanks again for your help

Hi Shaun, i have had a look and i cannot find any on the internet that are the same (with the mount and rear brackets on the folks and the handle bars). its as if they only made one and no one took a photo of it!
