Yes that is in Team Telekom colours👍. I don’t recall the ‘Eddy Merckx’ lettering being in that older font on these team bikes. I once owned a MXL in these colours, photo attached. Cheers

A friend of mine is looking after this at the moment. Had a quick ride round his yard on it, it’s not for me but very comfortable saddle. Reckons it is a very old frame. Some nice Campag bits on it too. Anyone seen anything like it? Cheers

The Campagnolo 9 speed rear mechs work fine with 8 speed groupsets too.

Nice bike but chainset and calipers are not Record.

C Record chainset must be worth about £100 on its own 👍

Hi, I have a Campag Record 9 speed hub running with an 8 speed cassette. You need a thin spacer behind your largest sprocket and you need a dedicated 9 speed cassette lock ring. I can look out the spacer dimensions if you like? It works fine but as someone else said there is less contact area on...

It’s always worked well for me; is there any play in the rear mech? If it’s worn that can really hamper indexing.
