I would also like to add to this conversation the issues brought about by different rear cog/drive setups.
IF a geared body with a converter is used. then the tension should be less than if a dedicated SS driver is used.
is a freebody and SSkit then for max body life the chain should not...
DM oops i was thinking 950. which are another sizing altogether 112mm and something else
but back to the OP Middleburn do do a range of rings to fit the 5 bolt 110/74mm pattern http://www.middleburn.co.uk/chainrings_mtb.php
as mentioned earlier.
well if it uses the same splined fixing as the 900's then yes. Sorry dont know the 739 cranks.
Edit: done a google are these yours?
then at a guess the spline should be the same.
here is Middleburns
http://www.middleburn.co.uk/spiders_xc.php
and scroll down.
nothing will bring them back to as new condition as the contaminant sits deep down in the pads and as they heat up it gets sucked up to the surface reducing the grip again and again.
when using any solvent as a cleaner it is best to use an alcohol based solvent rather than a mineral based one...
Middleburn do now do a 64/104mm spider for the cranks now.
my only issue was that the shoulders and the same odd shimmano diameters so that inner rings can not fit the outer without some filing. (or is it the other way round!)
