Aghh. I thought the black tyre was the old one and the yellow was the new. Yes black looks better! Have seen these bikes before and always get good reviews. A set of carbon clinchers would look nice although not necessary! Bet it accelerates and climbs well. A nice steed indeed.

Never heard of that Richard, but I will give it a try as my modern steed has been stripped to bare aluminium. I have autosol'd it but like you say it's still a little abrasive and I'm after a mirror finish (which will be great fun...or a nightmare to maintain)

I had the same problem and was advised on here to get some quality internal cam skewers. The modern external cams kept slipping. The old style skewers really do the job and the rear wheel hasn't budged a mm, even under heavy loads when sprinting / climbing etc

It's probably a Thun BB. I removed mine recently (well attempted to). Unfortunately the DS cup had seized and I cranked the BB tool too hard with a 2ft breaker bar and ate through the plastic cup.
Had to hammer it out and now I need the frame threads re tapped.
Let me know what BB you go for...
Good man! I'd fancy a similar holiday but with 2 kids under 2, travel, hotels and heat don't make sense at the minute.
Who needs a foreign holiday when NI's in the high 20's! You got lucky coming back to this :)

I have seen them before. Most of them seem to be integrated into a rear light unit, but because this is a small unit in the centre of the bike it seems like the indicator function might be a bit ineffective (difficult for a driver to tell a left light from right when the lights are only 2cm...
Absolutely superb. I believe this is called "adding value".
I'm trying to work out what he's done. It's a smooth crank surface but a rough paint finish. Even a course grit wouldn't leave it that dimpled.
Interesting that he has 100% feedback.
Words fail me.
