engine swaps are generally fine - 998 to 1275 A series they won't even blink. Generally 'period' modifications (mods that were performed 40+ years ago) are fine, with the caveats below.

They're not impossible to come by, but you need to do bulkhead mods in a mini, and mainly, the old T3 turbo is far too big for even a 1275. There are options to mount the turbo over the clutch and use a GT15 or similar.

Superb condition, no cracks. Previous owner removed canti bridge but you can barely tell. Made by litespeed and weighs just under 3.5lb.
