Removal of Seized Stroke Adjusting Screw of Rear Derailleur

I haven't got back to it yet but I was thinking of needle nose pliers myself after giving the derailleur a 7 day soak in WD-40 and trying the correct size JIS screwdriver without luck. I don't think I had seen the design of what you mentioned however. Thanks!!! for the heads-up.

Wanted Shimano Deore DX RD-M650 Plate for Stroke Adjusting Screws

Thanks Mate, Pity they're a bit damaged. The slots are JIS spec (dot on the head) not Philips and the damage most often occurs with the use of Philips Head screwdrivers. That's another problem I am working on. I've since bought a JIS No. 2 screwdriver...

Shimano Deore DX Rear Hub - Slightly Rocking Freehub Body?

Hi Folks, Firstly a little history. I bought the hub new (NOS) in 2013. At one time I installed an 8-10 Freehub Body on it to use a 9-speed cassette instead of the limited 12-32 7-speed SRAM cassette. I learnt later that you could use 8 from 9-speed and 9 from 10-speed cassettes on a 7-speed...

Hi Folks, 2 images attached. I have a used Deore DX M560 Rear Derailleur with a Stroke Adjusting Screw that I haven't been able to unscrew any further because the head has become damaged due to the torque required to turn the screw. Left Rear Cone (CN-R080?) Shimano Deore LX FH-M560 rear hub

As you can see from the attached photos, the bearing race is damaged. I will need to go to a shop that I know has a vernier caliper to get more accurate measurements than what I have already posted.

Left Rear Cone (CN-R080?) Shimano Deore LX FH-M560 rear hub

Hi Folks, I need a left rear cone for my 1993 vintage Shimano Deore LX FH-M560 rear hub. I think the CN-R080 is the model I need. The diameter is more than 15mm but less than 17mm and could be less than 16mm. The length is 15mm or maybe 15.1mm. It is very similar in design to the CN-R002...
