Cannondale M500, I was hoping to strip and polish it, maybe get hold of some pepperonis but I need to get some funds back to spend on the other bikes, what do people think is a fair price to ask?

I have aquired a Cannondale Lefty Max spv fork from 2006, I haven't had time to have a good look or service it yet but I did notice that the recoil strength knob on the top won't budge in either direction, might there be a problem and where's the best place to source spares for these? Thanks.

Well I've just committed to buy a Cannondale Prophet so I'm at the point of no return.

All the people who warned me this site would lead to financial peril you were bang on, I've just bought an M500 as a project and I've seen another Cannondale I want more than my M700 so something will have to give. This bike is virtually mint having been used twice by the original owner then...

I'd really like a polished aluminium frame, is it ok strip and polish and leave it bare or will it require a coating of some description?

It's in the 92 catalouge but serial number shows Dec 91 so I suppose technically it is a 92 model.

I just can't bear to get her dirty. Which is why I need to get another :twisted:
