Re: Many thanks for the replies. So from inspecting my front wheel I can't see any holes for a pin spanner and there is only one surface suitable for a spanner which is on the hub itself. I assume I must have the same ones as you have recently serviced. Do I just stick hex keys in the Axel...

Cheers, that's what I thought, but looking on bikepedia earlier tonight for the 95 Zaskar lists double butted tubes for the LE, but not the vanilla model. Must be a typo.

One other thing, back in 95 was there any difference between the Zaskar and the LE model?

Those ink blue Zaskars still look as good as I remember, if I had some space cash I'd be on the look out for a 16" one now. Just out of idle curiosity :twisted:, were many made in ink blue, do they come up for sale very often, and how much would a frame/ full build fetch these days?

Thanks dude, that's the beasty. So is that just regular paint then? I loved the dark blue with the violet hues, gives the finish real depth :) I think the one I remmeber had the down tube graphics removed.

Thanks for that, but that's not the colour I remember, this one was much darker, maybe it wasn't anodized? It was a really deep inky blue :?

Has anyone got a picture of a GT Zaskar in the Anodized inky dark blue, 1994/95ish? I remember seeing a Zaskar LE frame in that colour in the shop just after I got my Ball Burnished Zaskar, and thinking I'd made a huge mistake, as it looked just fantastic in the shop window. I don't think...
