Re: Drivetrain '92 was the starting year for the XTR!!Most of them are build with XTR or Record OR,but Campagnolo sucks,only for a showbike!! Thumbies works great,it doesn't matter if 7 or 8 gears,the same index??

I also use Ti-spokes in my 10th,in combination with alu nipples(original,a little bit longer than normal ones )! You had to use Ti-Prep while building! If you ride only in the sunshine,like me(with my Anni),I think there is no problem :lol: Olli :D

I think the idea was the stiffness under the chainstays.There was less flex! Later they change to seatstays,because it's a better protected spot against mud. Olli :P
