Re: Just letting you know that I'm back on the Carless project, got sidetracked modifying my new TT bike and finishing my mountain bike project. Sanding the frame ready for spraying. I have mixed up as close a match as I can get to original but may go for red Carless decals, cables and bar tape.

Re: Thanks, I'm trying to leave structure of frame as original as possible but I can't think of how to have front and rear derailleur cables without modifying the frame a little, I only has a rear derailleur cable mount. All other parts are just bolt on.

Re: I'm putting STi levers on the base bar rather than having separate brakes and tt bar end shifters as I want to use this as my main ride but be able to practice tt position for my race bike.

Re: I actually spent all day yesterday between 2 jobs sanding and spraying my 3T TT bars that are going on the bike, half the back half of the Dura Ace calipers, I did this on another build after seeing some Tektros like this and love it, ties in shiny and black parts of the bike, and the rest...

Thank you to the two people that have replied to me, especially for the historical information. I have tried to personal message but contact button doesn't seem to work, maybe because I'm new to the forum.

I'm going to start a new post tomorrow for this bike and post build pics.

Re: It arrived today, I've cleaned it up with T cut, de rusted the chrome, I'm not going to spray it but I'm going to make some new decals as they are really bad if I can find a font similar and do it in waterside paper. It beautiful and so lightweight! 1850g.
