I've jsut been looking at those too... I'd love one but I suspect they are well outside my price range

Here is my 1997 Lemond Buenos Aires. Not as nice as the bike above but I like it.
I know... it's a Trek era 853 frame but...
Good to see this frame back on here. I agree with the others that mostly silver will work well for the build. I had a lot of fun with it when I had it :D
Watch what brakes you try to run - the rear brake post spacing is very wide which makes running some brakes impossible.
Have fun 8)
Yes... I really did sell the 1993 Dave Lloyd CATS WISKAS and my 1999 Trek 8900 to buy this... and so far I do not regret it at all.
Photo shows how she looked after SSEC where I stripped the gears off after wrecking the rear wheel on my SS Explosif.
One of the main reasons I went for...
I rode five miles on this rim.
A few more pics here... why did I take so few pictures?

Because I was having so much fun :D
I have very few pics but some great memories. I had to ride five miles on my rear rim on the Friday social ride after the 15 year old M231 sidewall on my retro explosif gave out... bloody V-brake rubbish
I could no longer be retro but at least I could still ride. As mentioned above -...
I'll add my congratulations and thanks to the above list. I had an ace weekend and the 8 hour drive both ends was well worth it.
Shame I didn't get to ride my Explosif on more than the Friday social but at least I had a back up plan which was put to good use... watch the sidewalls on those...
