the wedge is still in there, I just need the mechanism to tighten it...or a picture of it...

another option would be to make a slit in the seat tube in the front and put a normal collar on there...but if i can i would rather not...

purchased an aluminum frame off ebay. came without the seatpost binder. never seen this type. frame has a little piece loose and when you tighten the binder it presses against the seat tube... what is the name/type of this? it is a research dynamics coyote alu 5

If i use my 1 1/8 threaded forks and quill stem the reducer fits in the frame without any cups correct? and then the cups fit into that with the bearings? I am just trying to understand how the reducer works...
