Insulation tape suits any period....... No,,,, i have had a couple of 70's frames with the chrome effect jobbie, i've also seen quite a few leather one's ....

Wether to respray is up to you, but get it rebuilt and get the pics on here...

I'd say late 60's too, nice looking frame worth spending a little bit of time and effort on...
