    Wanted Adaptor Headset 1 1/8" to 1 1/4"

I need either an adaptor headset to allow me to fit 1 1/8" forks in a 1 1/4" frame or the sleeves to allow me to fit a 1 1/8" headset in a 1 1/4" frame.

    Headset Advice

It seems 1 1/2" to 1 1/8" reducer headset is easily available but can't find 1 1/4" to 1 1/8" unless I get it from America.

British eagle boss mtb - any thoughts?

This is my British Eagle Boss. I bought it as a bare frame for £30 and kitted it out with XT bits. The wife loves it.

    Headset Advice

I'm building a resto-mod Alpinestars Al-mega with disc brakes, 1x9 and Marzocchi Bombers. The frame is 1 1/4" and the Bombers are 1 1/8" A-head. Is there an off the shelf solution that doesn't use a shim to make an 1 1/8" headset fit the frame?

Re: It turns out my frame was already sleeved down to 1 1/8" so the Junior T's fitted OK. I cleaned them up and put some 7.5W oil in. They work OK but I only get about 50mm travel. The online info says to fill to 90mm from the top when fully compressed which I've done so am guessing the springs...

Re: So Ive got a pair of period Junior T's coming but they are 1 1/8". Is it possible to sleeve the steerer up to 1 1/4" rather than sleeve the frame down to 1 1/8"?

Re: That looks like what I need. Anyone got a pair going spare with 1 1/4" steerer?

Re: Thanks for the reply. I'm probably wrong but I don't think they are Marzocchi's. I've searched the web and can't find any pics of the same. Similar but not quite the same.

Does anyone recognise the front end and chainset on this Al-mega? Before everyone tells me, I know the head-stock has been modified. Apparently it was to stop it cracking when it was used for dual slalom.
